Poplin

Originally from Avignon, poplin is a tight and plain weave that will suit you if you are looking for a weave with the most sober and smooth texture possible. This weave also allows for lightweight fabrics thanks to a fine thread, which makes ironing easier. This is the weave that we recommend for the office and which can follow you (almost) all year round. We do not recommend it in summer because even if it is light, it is not a breathable weave and it will retain heat. Also avoid in a casual context, in which its very smooth texture will seem a little austere.
